I had finally found a mod that i really wanted, but was way to expensive for my budget. On my 650 i used to run my stock carb which was a kein 38 mm carb. However, now i run a dual carb set up and i had changed brands to mikuni carbs.
I got a really good deal on these bad boys. Usually online they run around $350-$450 for the whole set up which is a bit much seeing how my jet ski was $600. Lucky a guys was getting rid of some for $150 i rushed to go and get that deal.
I had them installed within the hour. I took it out the next day and let me tell you the difference it had made. i had gained so much bottom end on the motor it would take off way faster and jump out of the water a lot higher.
showing people basic/ advanced jet ski mods, projects, tips, tricks, and solutions. please feel free to ask for any help or questions on my jet skis.

650 sx (2)
Once i had finally got that new motor from my friend i rode it for about a year. It ran good; only thing that i had an issue with was the battery nothing to major. After that year though i had decided to do some upgrading to make a little more horse power. My friend had tagged me in this post where a guy was selling a hull that had dual exhaust ran out of the back instead of the stupid one on the side.
This hull had an aftermarket stain less steel aluminium prop and a ride plate it was a hell of a deal for $100. so i had picked that up and did a simple motor swap; only four bolt and i ripped it right out within 30 minutes.
That prop, ride plate, and better exhaust made a hell of a difference believe it or not. Such an easy way to make your jet ski ride a lot nicer for a very cheap cost!

650sx(1)
Hey guys this is my stock 1987 650sx. I know it is not much to look at, but this thing is my baby. When i first got this thing i knew absolutely nothing about jet skis. OH BOY was i an idiot for buying it. When i first got my 650 it ran for one whole test ride. After that it never would turn over.
Turns out the guy i bought it from ripped me off. There was a good 10 teeth missing from the fly wheel and the crankshaft was completely rusted out. Lucky i got a god deal off a friend and i put a whole new motor in that hull. However, this was just the begging of a whole new make over for my baby!
